Hello All,

The 996 models for USA/Europe are different from the 996 model M606 manufactured for the Canada.

The main difference is the DRL day running light and In fact most of the people here are using a DRL hack by jumping fuse #6 and #9 which is not the solution I'm looking for....

The USA and Europe models do not have any cables harness pre-cabled so I was looking for a complete list of genuine parts and a schematic diagram to make this change.

I found the double relay which is the P/N: 99661511100 and would appreciate if you could provide the schematic diagram and a complete list of genuine parts needed to make this change.

As an FYI, I sent 2 weeks ago an email to Porsche Canada and got no response.

Any help and in particular from Loren will be really appreciated.

An alternative I did utilized the Phillips DRL kit, about $85. Plug and play, ran wires through headlight moduals and placed the lights in the upper air ducts. Auto on/off and update the look of the car.

Hi Loren,

Thank you for your quick reponse very much appreciated.

Do you know by chance the part number of the cable harness necessary to do this cabling from the Relay Carrier Support Frame where the double relay 99661511100 will be installed in socket S6 and S7?

Best Regards,

Liberato

I think the difference in the wire harness is at the chassis level not at a sub harness (replaceable) level.

Every Porsche made has a custom (to it's factory options) chassis harness.
