Hi Guys! What do you think would be a fair current price for a silver 06 Turbo S with 102K miles? Texas car with no obvious issues. I'm still looking to replace my Turbo totaled back in March.

I'd say that would be ballpark but if it appears in great shape and came with all records then that would definitely raise the price.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! The car is listed on cargurus so Doohan may have found the ad but my gut tells me to trust what most folks said back in March and that is take an 04-06 CTT and add $2K in upgrades and you have "S" performance. I wish I could have gotten this one for closer to $20K than $26K but I truly hope he gets his price. That would be a dream come true for him I bet! For me there is no reason to buy this "S" since all the badging has been removed. No bragging rights at that point, right?!

Yeah, but for that extra 2-3k you can have the S with that 70 more horsepower and the same MPG, and I believe the S gives you the Sport transmission button if I recall.

You really don't get the CTTS performance for $2K unless your just talking about straight line. The CTTS engine has the extra boost you can get from a software package but it will maintain it longer by keeping the mixture cool with the larger intercoolers. Add to that it has the bigger front & rear brakes, 20" wheels standard, stiffer suspension bushings, a different lowering module, reinforced struts, reinforced steering tie rods, and usually more standard items as well as options but almost nothing that can't be had in a regular CTT. It was I believe a $19K premium over the regular Turbo. The '06 CTTS tranny doesn't have a Sport button, just the standard Comfort, Normal, and Sport settings for the PASM.

I was saying how the price of a CTTS and a CTT are similar these days and you might as well spend that extra money for that extra performance.

I just bought my first Cayenne. It's a stock 2006 Turbo S and I love it. It actually has 130,000 miles. It's been maintained with receipts, silly expensive break and rotor job, drive shaft deal, and some other stuff, no accidents and even has pretty good paint. When I got the car the interior was one of those which hadn't been molested with the goop, but it was indeed dirty. I just can't believe how fantastic the interior looks after cleaning with a soft bristle brush. These interiors are tough. The car is tight and everything seems to work too. Downside seems to be I need to fix the stock wheels a bit from curb rash, I bought new floor matts, a battery as it sounded a bit sluggish on start up, and two door sill trim pieces. Even though I got a pretty decent price I don't think you could wrestle this one away from me for less than 26,000. It's just too nice.

congrats on your lucky buy, Greg! I hope I am at least half that lucky when mine comes along. Did you have it checked out by a dealer or roll the dice on mechanical condition? I think a Cayenne with that many miles has survived the worst of it and has a long life ahead!

As another point....I bought my 04 turbo in 2010 for 21k....It had 55k miles....all options except 4 zone climate and the off road package.

The caveat was I knew the plastic pipes were still there.

A suggestion....you can get the dealer inspection checklist online and simply spend the hour or so doing the checks yourself....which is what I did myself.

I was comfortable looking over the Cayenne TTS I bought myself. When you come across some cars that need a little cleaning, yet you know they're all there you just need to say thank you God.

It's pretty nice other than some little stuff you'd have to expect for the age.
