Very strange alignment issue..... Help needed, thx........

Okay, this is a strange one. I had my car (2003 C2) jacked up on the rear jack points to remove my mufflers. In doing this the opposite sides suspension is compressed a bit. I'm noting this as this is the only thing I can think of that could of caused this. I took it for a drive after and all was good. A little later, went for another drive, and the steering wheel was noticably off center ( aprox 3-3.5 inches to the left). I checked the suspension parts i.e. ball joints etc. The only thing I noticed was the passenger sway-bar link (drop link) needs to be replaced, it's pretty worn out. Would this cause this kind of alligment issue or should I look in other places? Thanks everyone!

I cannot see how jacking up the car can make your steering wheel off center. Are you sure it was not like that before?
