So here's how the story goes..

My father and I found a good 2004 Cayenne Turbo that had front right damage, only needed a fender and bumper, and a couple suspension components. Nothing major though. So, while I have been busy with school and such, my father was taking care of ordering the parts.

So, Today I came up across the car, and realized that he had ordered a 2004 Cayenne S front bumper. He had told me a couple days earlier after the suspension work had been done and was telling me about the difficulties of fitting the bumper, and I didn't put two and two together to ask him if he had ordered the right one, I just figured he did.

Basically I have two questions.

1. If I kept this Cayenne S bumper, which I am rather opposed to, as I find this particular bumper absurdly ugly, would I experience any heat soak or any problems with cooling the intercoolers?

2. What would be the extent of performing the conversions? Are he fenders the same? Has anyone done it, and any pointers would be nice.

I would appreciate the help, and I am glad to be apart of the Porsche community! Thank you.

1. Very possibly - yes.

2. You did not say about the wheel well housing. Fenders are the same but the wheel well housing is different for the Turbo.

I would highly suggest sticking with Turbo parts and duct work.

If it were the other way around and you put Turbo parts on an S you would be fine - too much air is okay - not enough or directly wrongly is a problem.

Yeah, I didn't break it to him yet, but I don't want any problems to occur with I could imagine, the rather expensive turbo system. I'm fine with sticking with the 2003-2006 Turbo look, but as I said, I'm also considering the 2008 CTT look as well. Just don't wanna do too much work. Thanks for your reply!
