Remove rear door ash-trays

I notice that my 2005 Cayenne S has a very sticky residue on the rear door ashtray lids, probably due to using Armor-All or similar.

I've tried to remove it to little effect but I think I may as well just remove the ash-trays anyway.

Has anyone got instructions/video on how to remove them please?...Steve

This attached procedure shows the arm rest removal. Apply the same technique for the ash tray removal.

Looks like you will have some holes visible if you remove the ash trays and don't replace them.
