I've changed oil and filter - M1-5-30 euro blend. Porsche dealer says possibly running heavier weight oil and adding some ATF may clear this error? Any recommendation on the weight I should use and amount of ATF I should add. Alternative to ATF could be Lucas. I'm guessing the strategy is to clean out oil system in hopes of clearing this. - Has this worked for anyone?

I hear two names for possible bad parts - a vario cam adjuster, and an inlet camshaft adjuster - Are these the same parts? How difficult is this to replace?

Also it seems this can be caused by a stretch in the timing chain. Is there some way to adjust this without replacement and why doesn't the chain tensioner compensate?
