Question on why my passenger rear tire wears out faster than the drivers side? Is the primary drive side? It wears out on the inside of the tire. I installed new rears around October. My passenger rear is about completely bald while the driver side still has tread. Is there a adjustment that needs to be complete on the passenger side?

Thanks,

Is the pressure correct and even between left and right? A little more wear at inner side is normal but excessive wear can be caused by wrong alignment such as excessive toe-in. I think it's a good idea to get the alignment check out by a good alignment shop, preferably specialized in Porsche.

Great photos btw :)

yes, air pressure is correct and constant between the two. I will look into having the alignment checked.

Thanks on the pictures, they were shot by me last year!

I second getting a good alignment shop to take a look. I was impressed by a local recommended shop. I went in because I was getting vibration at high speeds. They found that the culprit was a bent wheel but the before and after alignment numbers are interesting to say the least...

Here is what the tire wear looks like comparing one side to the other. I have tires ordered should be here Monday. I also have an alignment scheduled.

You power out of left turns a lot? :)

Thats one thing I thought about, but hard to say for sure. The last set wore the exact same. I have drove this set harder than the previous set. So we will see what the alignment comes back as. I hope they find something or I am going to have to drive like Nascar but with all right turns :D

Is your car dropped? any aftermarket suspension? I have H&R coilovers and the rear's have some camber and I am noticing that my rear passenger side also has less thread than my driver side but its not as major as yours... My car is equiped with an LSD so I dont think the rear passenger tire gets more power than the rear driver...

Check the height from the ground to the border of the 1/4 pannel on both rear sides to see if maybe the car is more inclined on one side.

Both are shot, but I'd expect too much negative camber on the RR, along w/ slightly low tire pressure. You don't seem to have the "scalloped" block edges that develop w/ incorrect toe.

Most inside wear problems on the rear are due to too much toe, not too much camber. I scrubbed a set of rears in a few thousand miles because of too much toe.

Appreciate all the feed back. The is in getting new tread as we speak. if they give me a alignment print out, I will post those results.

To the best of my knowledge all suspension is stock. I never did get to measure the car height before stopping at the tire store.

Here is the alignment sheet they gave me. Hopefully someone call explain the above tire problem and what this shows me. Are the adjustments they made going to help or do I need to take it to a dealership for a better alignment?

For what its worth, mine were more out of whack than yours (see my previous post in this thread) and I didn't see that kind of wear.
