Replaced the Engine Torque Damper in MY2004 Cayenne. And then pulled the wheel liner on that side an fixed the stupid headlight washer leak. Fun times!!!

I think it went before I purchased the vehicle. I have replaced the coils, plugs, brake & rotors, brake fluid, PSM control module, water pump, primary fuel pump, Cardin shaft, tires, lights & air filters ... Finally got to this item. All in the past 9 months.

What does this fix, replacing the worn bushing? Less engine wobble?

Mine is probably just as bad, but I don't know what I would improve by fixing it...

We used to fill the boxster engine mounts with a liquid plastic to fill the void. Seems to work better than the original rubber porsche used.

The part will reduce engine vibrations and help with smoother acceleration. The torque will be transferred to the transmission rather than twisting the engine block.

I have noticed since replacing .... Smoother shifts and less shaking at low rpm and low speeds through community streets when the transmission goes into 5th gear ...( 50-60kph)

I really like this idea.. any suggestion on what to use? Would RTV work?

Thanks. Pricey little devil isn't it.. It's the sort of thing people should do a group buy on one package, since it looks like 1LB (the amount it comes in) would be enough to do a LOT of the mount bushings.
