I'm lost, I have try all I know to make it work.

I have a 2000 S with m490 audio option and I have had rear shelf speaker last summer.

So I wired from socket A, the 12V, the switch, and the ground. I have wired the front speaker and rear speaker directly to the speaker out of the kenwood radio. When I switch on, everything work well (rear, front, left, right).

The door subwoofer are still goin tru the m490 amp and are then connected to the RCA subwoofer line out of the Kenwood radio. As soon as I connect the sub and turn the switch on, I hear a small pop from speaker and radio goes to protect mod.I have also try opening the radio, go to initial setting, then switch-pre to subwoofer, then close radio, connect sub, open radio. same thing happen.

Radio spec:

Maximum Output Power 50 W × 4

Full Bandwidth Power 22 W × 4 (at less than 1 % THD)

Speaker Impedance 4 Ω to 8 Ω

Tone Action Bass 100 Hz ・}8 dB

Middle 1 kHz ・}8 dB

Treble 12.5 kHz ・}8 dB

Preout Level 2 500 mV/10 kΩ

Preout Impedance ≤ 600 Ω

Sub are working (1.5v battery make noise), wiring seams ok, fuses are good (D8 radio and D9 amp). Feels like the amp is not powering the sub, so Kenwood radio goes to protect mode.

I guest I need to connect the blue/white wire (power control) of the radio, but where. I have tried with socket A pin5 (control output for automatic aerial/amplifier), not working. Also socket C pin6 (control output for automatic aerial/amplifier), not working either.

How can I power the amp, so the subwoofer work?

Please help!

Thanks
