I have a 2003 955 turbo with evoms tune and after sorting out all the gremlins, it drives great in tip mode but in regular automatic drive mode, the shifting patterns are annoying. Sometimes when I give it half acceleration it shifts up a gear and sometimes it will not drop down a gear under full acceleration. Have any improvements on the transmission module been made since the production of my car to make the shifting more sporty.

I know this might sound weird but the manual address some of this verbage that your mentioning about the transmission shifting up and down along with shifting points based on speed and RPM's triptronic over to automatic.

There were later revisions of the TCU and valve body. I've heard the Sonax modified/improved valve body has helped many of the earlier 955's but Porsche say's to install the newer software TCU with a new Valve body, but the TSB has to do with hard upshifts/downshifts. But that does tell me that there is newer TCU software. I know there are versions that are backwards compatible/improved but someone more knowledgeable here can probably say which version will work.
