Hello All,

I am still getting the following error on my 2004 Cayenne S. I used my Durametric to pull the code. I have been having some issues lately. I had P0011 Cam shaft sensor go bad and I replaced it. I have cleared the codes and disconnected the negative battery cable over night. If I run the durametric it will show fault cleared with no faults but as soon as I drive it and test it the code shows up. Any help to figure out what to do is greatly appreciated.

470 CAN Comfort in single-wire operation-Open Circuit, test conditions are not-completed, fault is currently active and is not causing a DTC light.

This is a tough one then... since you get a CAN fault like that when the controllers can not talk to one (or more) controller.

Usually there is another error from another controller saying it can reach a different controller.

So I guess the next question or place to look at is recent repairs where they could have damaged or disconnected the CAN connection from somewhere.

Thanks Loren, I just plugged the car in again and now I have a 470 and 1314 DME Control module error. No other errors. I am going to clear them, take it out for test drive and recheck again....The last repair was the cam sensor and left turn signal bulb.
