Hello All,

I'm a newbie here. I've been fortunate to find a 2007 GT3RS about a year ago and can't say enough things about this beast of a car. It's my very first Porsche and WOW!! What can I say, other than I think I made a "wise" choice. So far I've taken it to a track once to DE hosted by PCA Mavericks region and loved it. Only complaint was to drive it to a track almost 70 miles away. Yes, it's a blast driving it but 70 miles on Dallas/Ft. Worth roads is not optimal to say the least. Any hoot, I've been doing some research to buy an enclosed trailer to haul it to local tracks instead. Any suggestions on size, features and/or how much to spend? So far I've narrowed down to 8.5'x20' 3500lb tandem axles. Please chime in...

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have the same beast, the most important things about the trailer are the ramps, will the GT3 bottom out while loading and number 2 is the tow vehicle that is pulling it.

I have a 8.5 x 22 ft Haulmark enclosed trailer and pulling it with a Suburban was a chore, not very good aerodynamics and a lot of weight, I also have not tried putting the GT3 in it yet but, suspect it will rub because it looks lower than my 356. The Trailex trailers are lighter and more aerodynamic.
