just curious if any members have upgraded their 997s from the stock suspension configuration to a configuration that's sportier( i'm presuming some have...).

I have a 07 Cab with 57K miles on it, completely stock and is my daily driver. I go to DE events about once every other month and am wanting a configuration that is a bit more geared for track but still somewhat comfortable on the street.

looking for some advice/guidance/experience/recommendations from folks that have upgraded their suspensions.

thanks in advance!

cheers

I have a 07 C4S Cab with about 35k miles and attend about 10 to 15 DE events per year. The only suspension mod I've made is to add adjustable camber plates and set the camber to -2 degrees. I also use 18" wheels on the track with Nitto NT01 tires. As I want to use the car mainly on the street I've been talked out of any other mods. I met someone at the track who replaced their sway bars with stiffer ones and didn't like them even with the softest setting and went back to the stock ones. The major change I made was replacing the front brake rotors with floating ones, adding stainless steel brake lines, high temperature racing brake fluid and pagid yellow pads. The stopping distance reduction is phenomenal and I catch a lot of faster cars because I brake a lot later going into turns. The only problem I have with the floating rotors is the noise they make when driving on the street.
