Will 8.5 ET40 18 / 11 ET63 OEM GT3 wheels fit on my '02 996?

I currently have 5mm and 17mm oem spacers...

The rears will fit exactly like OEM. Im running

295 30/r 18 BBS with an ET63. On 11 inch wide rim. No issues.

The fronts per your spec are about at turbo wide body spec.

My fronts are 8 with an ET50 and there is plenty of turn radius and damper roon.

Pushing the wheel further out with an ET40 plus that extra 1/2 inch may rub depending on your ride height.

I certainly wouldnt try also adding the shims to this mix

I ve seen 19" inch/ 295mm rims on a C2 making contact with parts of the wheelmount when the springs are fully pressed (rear tires). You should take that into consideration.

As I understand for a C2 the max tire size is a 18" with 265mm tires.

The 19" did look nice though .....

Check the TSB for approved wheels, tires and spacers. No problem with the rears with no spacers. The front setup is not approved, but I think I recall reading somewhere that 8.5s will fit up front, not sure about the offset. Also, I was recently advised by Loren that Porsche doesn't recommend spacers only in the front.
