Hi All,

Just registered here and would like to start with a question:

I am looking for a DIY for replacing all (front & rear) seat belts on a 2003 Cabriolet.

Information in Europe seems to be scarce, but I've found a few very interesting places on the internet on your side of the Atlantic while searching for the topic.

Thank you very much indeed for your help.

With the very best regards

Hi Loren,

I did actually find this by doing a search. However, I was looking for a detailed description how to dismantle the interior trim etc., etc..

Good tip about disvonnecting the battery though...

Hi again,

Thanks for that too. Is the procedure for removing the panel the same for the Cabriolet? Because the drawings from the Porsche manual show the Coupe, if I am not totaly mistaken?!

I very good question from Kjurinek above, I have just almost, removed my rear seat belts from my 911 996 2004 4S Cabrio.   Just not enough room to get out sideways towards the outside of the car.  Refitted them.  Does the seatbelt get removed upwards, once the cover with the 2 locating holes for the bolts holding down the hard roof is removed? Any help gratefully received, especially with photos/diagrams.

Yours,

David Gibson
