I have for a while had popping in the passenger door speaker when the volume is turned up. I recently got my 30k mile tune up and the dealership I bought my car from said there was nothing wrong with the speaker. I have not liked these speakers very much and I thought about replacing my speakers with better performing after market speakers especially for the door and dashboard.

I have been looking around and the first problem I know I am going to have is that there are no speakers that are the same size as the stock version. I have seen videos of people putting in different size speakers and having it work.

I want to get fairly high quality speakers and I am willing to make mountings for them, but I have a feeling I can't just by any subwoofer and stick it in my doors and have them work.

I have seen that 6.5" subwoofers are a good size upgrade and will dramatically improve performance and 4" dashboard speakers. If anyone can give me advice on what I should look for on speakers that would be great. Any recommendations on speakers would be great as well.

Thank you!
