I'm inching past 180F in 102F weather highway driving. Then it drops backs to 180F....I have not touched the coolant since I bought the 04 CTT two summers ago. I have the coolant pipe upgrade. Would new coolant help me keep the Turbo running cool? Just past 120,500 mi....any explanations or hints?

It's occurring when I'm in the slipstream of the vehicle in front of me, about two car lengths ahead. This only happens when it's 102+...

That is good. I was worried. Btw Loren do you have any info on the oil blow by collecting in the tube/elbow beneath the drivers side intercooler? I've replaced mine once maybe a year back and there is still oil dripping.....and coating EVERYTHING and I mean everything in the vicinity of that elbow! I'm going to have to pull the front off and the radiator out just to clean it all off!
