So searched high and low but can't find any help, figured I would try here. So went to car wash, electrically folded the mirrors in and when I picked up the car neither side worked. The mirrors just make a clicking sound. I shoth this Video to see if anybody here has a clue on what's up. Thanks

Stripped gear on the drive caused by someone manually putting the mirrors back into place. The gears become brittle with age.

Thank you so much, do you know if I can replace the gears or do I need a new mirror base? I don't see the gears in the porsche parts manual I am looking at.

MSRP on the mirror motor assembly is only $100.

Thanks Loren, I'll give dealer a call this week.
