I added power seats to my 06 987 w/manual seats and it was plug-play. All power functions work. Wires and modules same as 997.

However, they did not come with the memory module under the seat. I already have the memory switch and can bus wires for it but don't have a memory module for it to work.

If I added the memory module, would the power/ground/canbus wires match up to what I have now? Does anyone have wiring diagrams for power seat with and w/o memory?

:welcome:

Is your car a 2006 987 or 997?

You posted in the 997 forums but your post says 987.

You may or may not have the wiring you need - each Porsche has a custom wire harness built to order specs.

Sometimes you can get lucky and buy the short interface harnesses and sometimes not.

It's an 06 cayman but the seats are from a 997 GT3. If the cayman had power seats, it always had memory. The GT3 had either power seats with and w/o memory. Therefore, I would like to compare wiring in power seats w and w/o memory in the 997 GT3 to see what I have to do to add the memory function. I also need the wiring for a 06 987 cayman with manual seats.

If it's not plug-play I can swap the pin locations if I know what plug to buy. The seat memory module only needs can-bus wiring, power, and ground. I could make a custom wiring harness but I don't know the plug and terminal part numbers anyways.

Here's what I have now, only Cayman w/memory seats diagram. Also need cayman w/manual seats and 997 GT3 power seats w and w/o memory.
