Electric Wing to Whale Tail

I replaced the Electric Wing on my 1992 964 cabriolet with a Whale Tail. My dilemma is the car still thinks I have the Electric Wing, when I reach 50 mph and then slow to a stop. I get the dreaded "Exclamation" warning light. I removed the 15amp fuse to the wing, but no help. Any suggestions.

Just read post on rear wing and learned that control unit is under seat. Does anyone know which seat its under and what it looks like? (picture.)

I need to disconnect it to eliminate the warning lights when going over 50mph.

Finally got it fixed. The controller is on passenger side foot well. Just unplug and no more warning lights.
