Hi. on my 2000 C2 Tiptronic, I notice a leak on the rear left side drive flange. where the inner CV goes into the final drive (CV boot itself is fine). Is it as easy as unbolting all the bolts from CV to final drive and replacing the rotational seal in there? Anything else i would have to remove? Any help is appreciated.

Bentley says i need tools P254 and 9247/1 (whatever they are) to press back in the drive flange. is that true?

Anywhere but from Porsche (their tool pricing is outrageous); you will need to search online Porsche specialty tool houses like Samstag and others for the best deal.

I just use big sockets to drive most seals back in. Just have to take your time and make sure they go in straight
