One of the things I've noticed somewhat on the street and A LOT on the track after swapping in the 3.4 996 engine is that I get a lot of rear wheel chatter putting the power down out of a corner.

I have been advised that installing an LSD would cure that problem. So, it's between a Quaife and a Guard. I am leaning towards the Quaife - the car is still mostly a street car, and it sounds like that is the best for the street. However, I am hoping that it would help on the track as well.

Thoughts? Anyone BTDT?

One other wrinkle - I have traction control, which I turn off every time I drive. I assume I don't want to leave it on when I have the LSD in. I've heard varying things about getting it removed - some people have told me that I can turn it off by re-programming the computer, others have told me I need to swap out the entire ABS unit.
Anyone know for sure?
