2007 997 sunroof gasket keeps coming off, is there any glue Porsche uses to keep it on? or do I just need to replace it. I think the part number is 997.564.211.00

It may come with a sticky tape to keep it in place. The service manual does not mention any adhesive - it just says "center and press into place".

Sometimes they just don't want to stay put, in those cases we use a bit of 3M Weather Stripping adhesive (in black) to make it stay in place, works great:

Just follow the instructions on the tube and you should be fine. Sometimes all you need is a little bit of the right glue.

I had the same thing happen earlier this year and my shop simply used rubber cement along the edge where it is attached, pressed it on and the job was finished.

Hopefully they used weatherstripping adhesive - it looks and smells about the same but likely 1000 times stronger. At least I hope that is what they used... ;)

There was no evidence of an adhesive on the original. Any kind of adhesive should work reasonably well, with the kind recommended being a superior solution. Mine was rattling badly after the seal came off and stopped immediately after the fix.
