Morning Folks, Having a bit of an issue with the local Porsche dealer's service department. I have a 2010 Cayenne that despite my protestations was repaired to the tune of over $26,K. I know. However, I'm not a wealthy man, and it took a while for my wife and I to save enough to buy this vehicle, and we love it. It also serves our purpose trailering our other vehicles, and horses, so I can't just get rid of it and absorb the car payment. The a/c no longer seems to kick on until we're moving. I live in Florida and previous to this would often start the car and let it run a bit while the a/c cooled, much like I did in NY except there it was the heat. Now it won't cool until we start moving. It also doesn't get cool enough-we used to keep it at around 4-5 bars on the temp side once things cooled down, even on hot days, however, now we have to leave it on the lowest setting at all times. The dealer has been paid for their contributions, but refuses to correct the problem. They say the compressor is on at all times, but it seems like the problem is the compressor not starting soon enough. Any similar issues with a/c or this problem of not cooling until moving? Thanks for your help.

It any components that affect the a/c were damaged during the crash, you should be entitled to getting it fixed at any shop of your choosing assuming it's all handled by your insurance. May be try another dealer/shop?
