Another coolant leak (even after upgrade of pipes)

Hello Everyone,

I just did the coolant pipe upgrade kit. I actually bought more parts that were needed to do the job right. I changed the starter, thermostate, water pump and everything that possibly would break down the road. I have a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S with only 43k miles.

That being said, I have a leak again. I just did the repair last week, and now with less then 500 miles, I have a pool of coolant in my garage. Is there something i'm missing here? My mechanic tells me he changed everything and double and tripled checked to make sure it was bone dry before I paid him. All you input is greatly appreciated. Cause I'm so upset, I spent a lot of money doing all this.

Well its back at his shop now. And I let him have it, cause this is unexceptable. Does anybody know what else could be wrong?

Hose clamp not tight? I've been bitten that a few times.

The coolant reservoir plastic tank has also been known to split and cause leaks. Edited May 11, 2013 by bigbuzuki
