:( I do many gearbox's and cannot order any internal parts for this box. I have investigated it and know there is contractual issues with Audi. Anyone know where to get parts, eg syncros, gears etc-this one is a 2000 MY?

I did a fair bit of research before having my gearbox replaced in the hope of getting mine fixed. Alas, there were no parts available.

The only parts that are available for the G96.00 (c2) and G96.30 (c4) are some bearings (not shure which ones), the drive shaft crowns and a replacement seal kit. Getrag is the manufacturer, there was some talk of them releasing the parts but nothing has come of it. Having said all that, I know of one company in Belgium that rebuilds them so they must be sourcing the parts from somewhere.....or making them ;)

Jim on Rennlist said the G50 transmission shares some parts. His transmission was rebuilt by California Motorsports, Lake Havasu City, AZ 928-855-5755.
