996 (1998) I have just recharged battery after car was in garage for winter.the battery was flat. At first electric seats did not work but after a few days started working again. all ok for a while but now trip miles counter resets to zero after engine is stopped.also on board computer stuck on temp.(temp still changes) but cant move to other function with lever on steering column like fuel range, consumption, ave speed ect.also spoiler light remained on after spoiler raised but that has now fixed itself.just had battery checked and found it was low on amps so got a new one.but none of problems seem to be sorted? any help and ideas Much appreciated.Thanks.

Time for a new battery

OOPS! see that you got a new one. Have you driven it much after you replaced it? What is the voltage indication after it has been running for 1/2 hour? ~14v? You may have a problem with the alternator.
