Anyone have any suggestions for front license plate holder? I've heard of the kind that insert into the front tow piece--any known problems with this and are there brands you can recommend? How about US millworks?

I've gotten pulled over 4 times for not having a front license plate! 1 ticket :(

Here is where you will find one of the most popular versions of the license plate mount that does not involve drilling holes in the front bumper: http://www.moweraxle.com/

I have seen it on a friend's 996 and it is very well made.

Regards, Maurice.

I have one of the mower axel units, really like it because when I don't "need it" it stores nicely in the boot.

Don't ask me where, but some time back I saw a really nice unit that was motorized and with the push of an inside button, the plate flipped out and up from underneath the front of the car when needed. When you didn't want to display it, you simply pushed the button and it tucked away underneath the front end. May not be optimal for a Porsche since they are already low in the front though. FWIW...

Hey guys, will one Mower unit be able to be used on both a 987 and a 993? Or do I have to buy 2 different models? Thanks.
