My Bi Xenon projector lens are a bit milky/foggy looking. Are they suppose to be absolutely clear? Its a 2005 CS.

Anyone know if they are glass? Or has the UV from the Xenons clouded them if they are plastic?

I have the same problem

they are plastic and should be absolutely clear.

I polished the outside but it seems the fog is on the inside. there is nothing much i could do about it.

Because of the rather severe curvature of the projector lens, they have a slight foggy look to them due to light distortion and material thickness, which is how the lens works.

Again, the severe curvature and thickness of the material can make the lens appear somewhat "milky" or clouded when views off axis in certain lighting conditions; completely normal.

Thanks JFP.

I also see there is a bit of dust within the headlight "module", ie. specs of dust on the inside of the clear lens. Anyway to get it out? Compressed air???

Thank you.

Not without going to some lengths; you would need to pull the headlight assembly, remove the bulbs and then try to get it out, and in the end it would not make much (if any) difference in how the light performs.

I can confirm that my 2005 CTT has milky lenses and the GTS are clear. Like the photos above the difference is similar to the difference between clear and pearl domestic bulbs.
