Front drop link removal (rusted in place?)

Hi all,

Im in the process of changing my drop links. The rears went without hitch and the bottom (nearest to ground) of the front had no problems either. The top of the fronts are a little trickier... The nuts at the far end came off fairly easy on both sides but now the studs wont come out of their holes.... I was wondering if this is just rust or maybe the hole is threaded like the rears or something? Looking at it they seem to just go through but after hours of hammering and heat they will not budge at all.

Any ideas?

Did you soak them in PB Blaster for several days?

All done. They just slot straight through as I thought, a lot of heat from my Mapp torch helped them out. After bashing the end of the bolt for so long the end had flattened out so I need to angle grind the bolt so it would go through the hole. Why is nothing simple on these cars? Every 10 minute job I have ever done has ended up being 3/4 hours due to bloody rust. Cheers guys.
