You need a VisseO Tune2air WMA1000 which you can get from amazon. Plug the Y cable into the iPod and USB and the other end into the Tune2air. Pair your iPhone or iPad and it works beautifully with the ability to select playlists or artists via the PCM screen and it shows you what's playing by title and artist. Just remember if the car has been sitting awhile the Tune2air has to power on and connect to your device so iPod may not show up in the music sources for a couple of minutes after the ignition is turned on. This gives you Bluetooth audio. You could also plug an iPod nano directly into the iPod port. The console cover would close with the latest nano.

I use a 2 port USB splitter, the WMA and a 64gb USB stick. Works perfectly; bluetooth for streaming, tomtom, etc, USB for all my music without the faff
