As the title says, the front fog lights are always on. Head light switch is in the off position. I replaced the headlight switch and it didn't help. Pulled the fuse and relay (#12) and they stayed on. All other light functions (parking lights, headlights, rear fog lights, and park lights) all turn on and off like normal.

The fog light problem happened about 4 months ago and I cannot think of anything I changed to cause this.

Any suggestions what I should try next?

Thanks.

:welcome:

Do you know if this is originally a Canada car or not?

If not, then it could be someone's modification to make the fog lights stay on for DRL requirements there.

It is a US car that is now in Canada. I have LED DRL's on the car so I never modified the head lamps. I've had the car for 2 years and this was never a problem before.

Well, if you pulled fuse A7 and the fogs are still on - then it could only be a short somewhere or someone re-wired them.

Has the car had any damage that has been repaired?

Is the rear fog light on also?

The car has not had any damage or repairs. The rear fog light turns on and off normally. I just started pulling fuses to see where the power is coming from as pulling A7 didn't work and fuse C6 killed the fog lights. That's the fuse for the wipers. I guess I'll have to start tracing the two systems to try and find the short. Thanks for the help.
