Auto Lock Coding

Hi:

MY99 C2, PST2 V24.

Tried to program the auto lock features from V4 to V2 but when I press F4 (save) the button, on the screen, grays out and nothing else happens. No indication that it was saved althoguh I waited several seconds.

Any ideas?

I don't think it is F4 you need. IIRC it is F8. There should be a symbol against the appropriate Function key on the bottom of the screen.

F4 saves information to the working log. To access the log, press the PrtScn key.

Thanks fro your your response. There is no F* option on the bottom of the screen but will try pressing the keyboard F8 key.

It is F8. There is a TSB available here which describes the process, which you can access as a Contributing Member.

There should be a row of buttons along the bottom of the screen, similar to those shown here:

The screen, at least in my PST2, to code the auto lock, does not have the F8 at the bottom of the screen but by pressing F8 on the laptop computer did take the change. As always your assistance has been of GREAT help.

You should get that bar at the bottom of most screens, when coding, or in Actual Values, etc. It sounds like you might not have the correct screen resolution set. It can be a bit of a nightmare to install the correct video driver. I would sugesst looking on the computer manufacturers support site, and seeing if they have a driver for Windows 3.0.

How do I get the results from the system check? when I press >> to stop it goes to the previous screen and no results. Does it means the system check came out OK?
