Just go my set of Schnell headers installed this weekend (early Christmas present!). My son found a set of $299 Schnell headers that fit up perfectly. They are burried on the Vertex site, and while perhaps not as nice as some of the Fabspeed products, they are a heck of a value for the money. Anyone else have any experience with these? They are nearly impossible to find on the Vertex site - part is SBHBASIC. They sound great, and hopefully they last - but at $300, I guess I can replace them in a few years worst case!

Ventura, can you be more specific? I was also looking at some of the lower cost headers and wondering if theres any power gain at all?

Vertex once sent me the wrong part when I ordered a pulse sender, but they took it back right away.

As for headers the will usually give you more power at higher rpm's but less at the low end.

I ordered lower suspension arms from them with replaceable balljoints, they sent the wrong ones, had to have my car on jacks for 3 weeks until I got the right ones. They don't replace the bushings, so you're paying the same as TRW arms with new ball joints and bushings. Ordered sway bar joints, sent 2 left hand sides, gave up and just got some from Napa. The lower price isn't worth the hassle. And full disclosure on the control arms would have been nice. There are tons of reliable folks out there, no point in being seduced with low cost, as you tend to get what you pay for.

Dharn, do you have any links to dyno runs of some of the headers? So its safe to say, aftermarket headers would only benefit track use? If so, I wont bother. Thanks.
