Hello, I have a 99 cabriolet and the passenger side front wheel liner is missing the push clip that is in front of the tire towards the bottom of the bumper. This one is the clip closest to the outside of the car. The hole lines up next to the radiator. I can not figure out what this clip should snap into. The clip at the same height but towards the inside snaps to a bracket that's mounted In the center of the radiator. But something on my car is missing. I've looked through the parts illustrations for the wheel liner, radiator and front bumper and I don't see anything that looks like it missing. If someone could pop out a couple clips and check their car it would be great. I can post some pics if it helps.

Hello, it's likely the retaining tab that got bent inward. It's soft metal, very easy to bend if the liner's misaligned and you push the clip. You might be able to use a hook to bend it back. If not, you'll have to remove the liner... Good luck.

I see the metal bracket on for the clip that's closer toward the hood of the car that's at about the same level as the one I'm looking for. It runs over the radiator but stops at that inner clip. I've looked on the outside of the radiator and the front side and haven been able to see anything that it would attach to. Unless it attaches to the bumper cover itself and perhaps it was damaged Before I bought the car...?
