For those who have the ipd plenum on their cayenne, is there a gasket that goes in between it and the throttle body as when I put it on my 04 cayenne turbo it did not have a gasket and I am wondering if I am getting an intake leak because of this. If there is one, does anyone know the part number.. Thanks.

I just looked in my oem plenum and found it. Should that have been taken out and placed in the ipd plenum. Could missing that be enough to cause an intake leak.

I went ahead and pulled the plenum off and it did have an o ring inside. Is it still possible to have a vacumn leak and no cel codes. Any suggestions on a simple way to check besides a smoke test. Is spraying carb cleaner to look for a leak helpful and what should I expect to find as my car idles normally

A small leak on the Pressurized side of the system will most likely NOT throw a code. I've worked on Turbo Porsche's & Audi's before and the only way of finding the leak is know what stock Boost should be and do loaded 3rd gear pulls while data logging requested & actual Boost. A leak in the PVC or fuel vapor system may vary well be detected depending on where it is.

I just ordered the pressure testing caps from Porsche to do a boost pressure test. What psi should the system hold without a leak and up to what psi can I push through the system in order not to damage something. My understanding is that I connect the caps to the plastic pipes that connect to the turbos after the MAF's and pressurize the system.
