This was done on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo. I only have a battery under my drivers seat. I think some might of came equipped with a battery in the trunk. I did't want to pay the dealer for a OE battery and labor. I was able to get mine from Advance Auto Parts for about $130 after coupon code.. http://shop.advancea...8agm&showTitle= NOW PUT IN THE NEW BATTERY AND DO EVERTYHING IN REVERSE ORDER!! VOILA! P.S. Dont forget to put blue loctite on the seat rail bolts. Also manual calls

After the replacement , is it necessary to code the battery with the care like the Audi A8 for example ? Both cars use the same battery, and in the A8, you must code it. Is this also available for Cayenne ? I have "08 S.

Thank you

Fantastic write up. I was able to change my battery this morning in about 45 minutes thanks to this!!! No issues whatsoever except a light failure warning upon first start. I figured it would go away once I drove it and it built up a charge. The error is gone and I saved a bunch of dough.

I have a 2009 CTTS and bought a duralast gold h9 battery from autozone for 189.99!

Thanks again!
