Hi !

As you know in german we dont have speed limits on some highways😉

Driving very fast, means about 240 / 250 kmh the vehikel behavior isnt normal i think.

Sometimes it feels like a short cut of fuel or ignition for a split second. You can feel that the engine isnt running straight with the same power.

Any idea?

Its a 2004 Cayenne S

Thank you. Tom

No. Car just came back from service. Got a new throttle body. This behaviour i felt already before. I just dont drive every day so fast but today i drive 200 km highway and at full or high speed you feel it really like a very short interuption. Almost the same feeling if car is looking for next gear for a second

Miles on the car? All service up to date?? Things like spark plugs and coil packs ever been serviced??? Does your car have a serviceable fuel filter????

Car has regular service. 127.000 km in total.

Coils. Spark Plugs. Air Filters. MAF. Throttle Body all replaced and new in the last monthes. About fuel filter i dont know. The never charged one so i guess the didnt touch.

250kM/hr is 155MPH. This seems like a convenient speed limit for BMWs and others. I know you are not hitting the rev limiter but could the vehicle reach a speed limiter?

Posted

Hi

No i guess nothing to do with speed limiter. If you shift manual in gear 6 the rev isnt that high to hit the limiter. Today i am going to change the fuel pump. Maybe its the reason

fuel pump

You was right. I went to change the fuel pump. I believed it was the one on passenger side because really strange noises from there.

But, this one was working and only noisy because it had to work much more because the DRIVERS SIDE PUMP WAS FAULTY.

It wasnt working at all but not damaged.just a cable there was not connected very well. So for now car is running fine again
