Hello all..I'm at a total lost as to how I'm going to get in my rear trunk. Brake light is out, coolant light is flashing intermittently and I need a oil change so I have no choice but to get this solved. Any input would be highly appreciated.

The cables are broken..Regardless of opening from inside the car or key fob. I have no idea how the emergency pull cable is broken too. After taking the bumber off, I pulled the emergency cable and it just slide out.

Hello all..I know this is a delayed response but I wanted to follow up on my post. I was able to get into the rear trunk and repair both the emergency cable release and the inside car/key fob release cable by entering an opening on the left side by the taillight. I used ferrules, wire and a crimping tool to make a new emergency cable and attached an extenstion to the existing frayed and snapped inside/key fob cable. I replied with pics to others on another board who help me out. Its a long post so I hope its ok to post the link:
