I recently purchased this unit, I am aware that I need to instal a jumper lead to get the factory fit DSP unit to fire up but even though its referred to in many posts I can't locate it?

Does anyone have the information to hand???

I've attached images for the rear of both units.

Additionally I noted that the telephone earth an live are to different pins is this significant?

For anyone considering this change, I have completed the swop using the jumper lead as suggested.

In essence the c1 block number 6 output needs to be linked to the A socket switched amplifier 12v output. This provides a trigger for the DSP system.

As an aside the new head unit is ipod compatable and I have installed the becker control unit it all works a treat and looks factory fit which I prefer.
