Hello all!

I picked up a GT3-RS a week ago and had it shipped to me. It has around 6000miles and appears to be in great shape.

However I seem to have a very strange noise from the front of the car when the car is slowing down, it almost sounds like a dragging noise or the noise of plastic rubbing pavement(it's not)...

I thought it might of been a rotor or break problem but if I just let the car coast to a stop, it also makes the noise.

I thought it might be something to do with the clutch but regardless of whether is compresses or not, it seems to make a noise.

The front tires need replacing so I have new Corsa's coming in this week but I don't feel like that will help with the noise.

Lastly, it may just be how it seems but I only notice it after it has been driven for at least 30-45 minutes at high speeds. It almost sounds like its coming from the trunk.

Any suggestions? The car is not CPO.

I would inspect the brakes first. Jack the car up and rotate the wheels and see if the brakes are dragging or if you can hear the noise when you turn them by hand. Also, if the car was tracked, it may just have some debis stuck around the wheel or caliper somewhere. So if you are changing tires you can do an inspection then. I would avoid driving much until you check it out. It could be very simple fix or it could be very costly. You won't know until you check it out.
