Good morning all........

I am off to the dealership later this morning where the obc will be getting turned on.

I understand after reading through the forum that if you and when you add the cdc4 stacker unit this needs to be turned on with the PST2 as well as for the PCM2 unit when added.......

My question is if I am to do these upgrades in the near future is it viable that the cdc4 and pcm2 options be turned on or will this cause mayhem to the current stereo that is running (I have the upgraded porsche unit non bose).

If Yes do we know what the relevant codes are to expediate it.

thanks in advance

I do not think you can code the changer or pcm until after they have been installed. When we did Raman's CDC-4 we put it in then Peter did something with the PST2 so the MOST system or whatever it is called would recognize the changer.

I forgot to add. You can have the OBC turned on before you do the retrofit as this is just the addition of normal copper wires from the stalk to the instrument cluster. We have the OBC turned on first all the time before we do the retrofit - that way I know it works after the retrofit is done.
