I had the center console painted and after the swap, the airbag light came on. I had a friend do the swap, so no idea what airbag wiring is involved. The console light is not on, just the instrument cluster airbag warning. Durametric codes are 8014 and 8016. I cant reset them. Any idea where I should start looking?. 997, 2006 Cab

THanks

David

:welcome:

80xx series codes are not airbag codes but sound system codes.

8014 External BOSE amplifier - Malfunction in rear right loudspeaker

8016 External BOSE amplifier - Malfunction in right door speaker

You likely need to check if the wiring got disconnected.

Hmm, OK thanks Loren, I'll plug in again and see if missed something about the airbag. Is there a wire on the console or ground that could have been disconnected in the console concerning the Airbag?
