i have a 2002 996 cabriolet C2 and are looking to get a set of chrome wheels and tires that are 225/40/ZR18 offset 50 and Rear 265/35/ZR18 Offset 65 but am afraid that somehow they will not fit my car.My present wheels and tires are Front 205/50/ZR17 and Rear 255/40/ZR17.

They were on a 2001 996 Cab C4 and i thought those were considered wide body cars hence my concern of fiting my narrow body car.. Any Thoughts???? Thx.

Those will fit fine (see the Summer Tires and Wheels TSB).

My car is a narrow body and I am running 8 x 18 offset 50 fronts; 10 x 18 x 65 offset 65 rear. On the front I am running 235/40 x 18 tires on the front and 295/30 x 18 tires on the rear.

Fit and handling is fine. This is the same setup as the GT3 Mk1 which was also a narrow body car.
