Compressor must be replaced

I asked one of the garages specialized in air-conditioning they said we could install Toyota Compressor and will be stronger and better

Is this possible?

With enough money, welding equipment and duct tape, anything is possible.

That said, what you are suggesting would overly complicate a normally completely functional A/C system, as well as significantly reducing the car’s resale value……

Why do you think the Toyota unit would be better? Cause they never break or set a foot wrong?? I'm sure the compressor Porsche uses is a Japanese unit already.

I did not say I think so and I have no experience in such matters

Maybe the install is attached to the Toyota engine! No more IMS worries:-)

I would only recommend replacing OEM unit with OEM.

I had to replace mine last fall. A new one from Pelican is reasonable in price, around $470, as I remember. The new one works great and I would not mess with success. Go OEM.
