Brake Pedal Strut Replacement

Notice this some time ago and never bothered me, but wife drove a few times and must have nudged the brake with foot, and then I was stuck on the phone for half an hour trying to explain what to do and what is going on (trying to reassure her it is all right to see this warning at this particular time). So decided to replace. After all, I like my cars in perfect condition (my ocd I guess). Step by step included in each photo. Bought replacement from ebay for less than $30 shipped. Hope this

Did this today, the stock one was totally blown, no pressure at all. I didn't have to pry the clips open for install - both ends just snapped right on to the ball ends with little effort.

Hi Ciaka,

Can't see any pics or detail on this topic; have they been deleted? My '05 CS has this issue and I'd like to DIY it.

Please advise? Thanks in advance.
