2003 carrera coupe. The passenger window is not indexing or going up or down at all it's stuck in the up position so I have to close the door very carefully. The window button works fine as I get feed back from the door like a click. I called a few Porsche garages and they all seem to say its the regulator and I'm getting quotes of 600-800$ I'm wondering if anyone has ha this issue and If it might be something more simple, I hope. I'm new to this site and couldn't find anything related to what I have going on.

Side note if anyone knows a reputable Porsche repair shop in the LA or Orange County area I would greatly appreciate it, would like a small independent shop with good pricing and someone that guarantees their work.

One of the 3 microswitches in either the handles or the door latch has failed. I take it you can roll the windows up and down with ease?
