The engine light came on with the following codes: P0138/P0102

The car has just come out of the body shop where the bumper was removed and repainted and both front fenders were repainted (in place). This has probably no relationship with the codes, but I just want to mention it anyway.

The codes were turned off and the engine light has not come back on so far (I have driven the car 40 miles).

What could be the cause of the codes?

Thanks

P0138 Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Above Limit

Possible causes:

– Wiring harness

– Oxygen sensor

– DME control module

P0102 Mass Air Flow Sensor – Below Limit

Possible causes:

– Open circuit

– Short circuit to ground

– Mass air flow sensor

Check to see if the MAF connection is tight and clean.

Clear the codes and see if any come back.
