Hi everybody,

I'm about to make modify my exhaust with the Fister mod. I know a lot of you out there have made this mod.

My question is: should I pay for the ceramic coating ? It's a $175 extra. Does it worth it? Did you took that option ?

I would like to hear you on that. Your comment or experience.

I did have the ceramic coating put on my mufflers. I like the way it looks (although you can't really see it once installed), I like the additional corrosion/rust protection and I like the potential benefit of reduced heat in the engine compartment. I don't think that the coating is necessary, I just liked the idea.

I have made up my mind...I won't have it coated. I only use my car in summer time (garage from november to march). So I don't see the necessity of doing it.

Enough talking, I'm calling Darring at FD Motorsport :)
