Hello,

I have a Carrera 3.4 C2, 1999, tiptronic with new engine. All service done.

Battery is new, MAF is new, the car is just going out of service. No engine light. The car is running well exept:

- The morning, I need to start 2 times the engine. The car is alway starting well at first turn key.The idle is fine (700t/m) but when I press the trottle, the engine go down, no power at all, the engine do not take tour.

- I simply restart imédiately the engine and all is fine. Power is up when i press the trottle..

Could you help ??

Clean the throttle body and the idle control valve. Both have been discussed here many times before - so please search for the procedures.

Try to reset the e-gas learning. There is a procedure floating around here somewhere, or just unplug the battery for 3 or 4 minutes. It may take a while to relearn.

Hehehe I had this issue with my old 3.2 carrera, I had to start the engine for two times before use the car, I never solved the problem, Renntech was not here 15 years ago!
